now she has got to be careful as she is in danger she don't know it is serious Faxon don't tell her what it is. Bill was here to supper. he hated to stay as he was here the other night, but if he fixes my other windows I guess we wont be anything out. dont worry he will do his part he is that kind. he likes my pickle lilly & the cheese & mince pie he wanted to go down to buy some ice cream for me but I would not listen to such a thing. some friends from South Braintree have just been here to see Blanch they stayed here a half hour talking then were going to call on MamieKate but I told them she was sick in bed so they did not go. its growing dark fast. our days are a little longer we notice. Gladys came here last week she called on Alice after I told her the way. she was going to Brockton to see about a job she was interested in at Douglases a good long ways from home where she was expected to board. I wish she would marry. she looks so pretty & is a nice girl & has faculty. not a bit like her mother more like Charles. Mrs Barry was pleased with her box of stationary. I never saw any card but felt the box was not meant for me & asked her afterwards if it was hers, after the other presents were carried off upstairs. funny that was left behind. I am glad everything passed off so well and xmas is over. next we may get more snow/so winter will be on in good earnest but it wont last forever we will be looking forward to spring after another cold month. now supper tea will be good thanks to your package Ma
