People up right & is good to the needy. every body in Holbrook respects him & gives him their work to do. because he is faithful & dependable. he likes to come over here we like him. you have a great deal more snow than we have had, so far ours turns to rain & don't stay on. it is clearing this afternoon the Twilite club meet this afternoon at Marion Estins not many are left an old society a great many have died they are too high hatted most of them. the Chicketaulist met yesterday afternoon. Mrs Barry attended. they play cards (bridge) & have a big feed after wards. I was here alone but don't mind. I don't see how folks do their work these days. they are going some where all the time. no wonder they give out early. I never enjoyed going consequently my life has been work in which I enjoyed more. I have not seen Ralphs folks since Xmas day. their furnace gave out during our coldest weather several days they depended on their fireplace entirely I don't see how they stood it it was cold Xmas day & they did not know it apparently. Lena has not been here since Xmas morning. she had a sick spell after she went to Jimmies & did not feel well enough to go there on Xmas day so stayed to Leggs. Mr Harrington has just been here we gave him the bills to pay for our telephone & electric light,he said he was going right down in the morning & would be glad to do it for us anytime. an awful good hearted man we are very fond of him. so you see we had plenty of friends & good ones. a good world to be in see?
