A faint land breeze in the early
A.m. took us in part way to the Is. & with the aid of oars we made the rest of the distance reaching the shore at A m the 3d day out although only 35 miles from San Blos. The sea was remarkably free from birds up close to the shore, a few sooty terns & fewer petrels being about all we saw until the shore was reached.
