Dear Doris I dont know of anything else to do so guess writing a letter will take up my mind. I was glad to get your letter this morning.

It is nice & cool as I sit up here in the chamber, a cool breeze comes in to fan my brow & its only a few days when you will be home again, each day I count the time when you will arrive. most of the friends I know are away now. Myrtle Tilcher has gone to California with her sister. her son married Holbrook girl. some one Mrs. Barry knew, her family at least. A piece came out in last nights Enterprise about a girl who was a state child, she lived with the Maseltbigs. Phoebie Bills daughter Pricilla, married him & they had three little children. so they took this state child, to care for them & help bring
