Dear Doris We are having cool wether still & it
seems good after roasting three or four days.
its a nice day sunny & a good day to do a little
washing. I have been waiting for cooler weather,
so that I can wash my dresses & have them dry
quick on the line. Mrs Barry has been called
up on the telephone by Mrs Dierkee you know her, she was the daughter of Arthur Talbot when you went to call on her & I sat in the car. It seems the vandals have been to work in the old burying ground and their lot is next to ours. and our stones are down she is going to have them cemented so that will stop their mischief & so she wants to know if you will join in with her & have yours done with her, so to stop their depredations. they take advantage of the stones that are down. its boys who are doing mischief. I dont think that the expense would be much but if its not scen to it might be greater
