Stoughton June 27th 1948

Dear Doris. We are having cool but pleasant weather. I think the thunder showers aroun us cools us off. The little girl over in the next house has just brought over our Sunday Post. I had my lawn mowed yesterday by the Colder boy. there are severn nasturtiums coming up in the box where they were planted. the rains bring everything out fine. She has just gone to church she has listened to a beautiful sermon also a nice singer. I suppose you are enjoying a swim at the beach if its pleasant down there, it would be too cold here. once in a while the sun is out but its mostly cloudy. my 7 Sisters rose bush is in full bloom. I brought that bush up from the Bruce place

Love Ma.
