     Stoughton April 25th 1948
Dear Doris A cool wind is blowing but its pleasant. daylight saving so we set our clocks ahead this morning one hour. people are just going to church our trees are just beginning to leave out some of them lilacs just budding forcithias in their prime, my spice bush is also just started to show its colors. the quince bush is full of buds. we haven't seen Doris since last Thanksgiving suppose she is very busy with her studies & going to dances nights. hope to see you all soon.  love Ma
