Stoughton Jan. 25th 1948

Dear Doris Another snow storm it snowed all the afternoon Saturday & all night. the wind blew & the the snow drifted. two boys have now just come around & shoveled us a good path. no church today no paths by way of getting there. Mr Puhello was going to get our Sunday paper when he gets his. he is entirely sick of such weather yesterday he told us he came north so to be near his folks. now his people (living in Brockton.) they are ordorer to change their climate

big pay but got in love with a girl who has another fellow & gets the money Tom earns by making a fool of him. He came over here to see Mrs. Barry with Gertrude & she told his fortune & warned him against her, he thinks a lot of what she tells him & now we hope he will prophet by what she told him. his family are worried over it they say its a pity he left his big brotherhood The Puhello girl has just brought over our Sunday Post, so now we can have something to read. our path was dug just in time. we are well provided for will be glad when our winter is over. its snowing some still.
