Went down to two below zero as there was no wind I didn't feel it so much. afterwards the sun came out, so that helped to warm us up. but the air outside with everything covered white with so much snow, we feel its cold, nothing seems to be melting , even the telephone wires are still covered white. we no more than get our  path shoveled than another snow storm comes to fill it up. it certainly is discouraging. we are having enough this winter. I put ashes on our path last night so when she came home after dark from Irene Swansons, she would not slip on the icy front path. after putting on those cloth socks over my rubber soles. I was very careful but there was no need of slipping as ashes were on the path where I walked. I sift all my ashes now down cellar after turning on the electric light, so we have lots
