She arranged the big boquet that Mrs Burk gave her & made two out of it. Mrs. Colden another friend & neigbor brought her a nice chocolate cake & a loaf of warm bread. I think today Bill will come over, being Sunday, he always takes our letters back with him & they are mailed so you get them earlier. I hope by now your cough is better and you are able to sleep and can get some rest nights. I wasn't surprised at hearing you had a thunder shower, for the papers said we were going to have one, also there was an eclipse of the sunset that same night. I hope Sidneys journey he returned from has done him so good & he will be rested some now from his journey. Ma
