 Dear Doris

Its a stormy day temperature around 40 early this morning sitting up in the front chamber where I always write my letters its, lighter than any where else. your box arrived yesterday. with all the good & useful presents. I am wearing that handsome bath robe which keeps me good & warm, while I am writing the letter. the old one I can use when sifting ashes & doing dirty work. the one you sent is just right for length, as I don't have to hold it up in going up stairs. it couldn't fit any better. I think you sent a lot of presents & they were just what I can use paper, cards, scouring balls, calendar, they got here in just the right time; not too early & couldn't have planned it bitter. I got a card from Josephen Mrs Barrys sister in Florida & another from Joseph L Baker he is a cousin.
