Dear Doris It is very sunny but cold down to 30° early. I am glad the sun shines. People are going to meeting. we have lots of rains, but no snow. wind makes it cold. A fire in the little stove has not been built for it seems warm with out. Norma Gebhartd has been in the hospital but has come home with a little girl baby. now she has a boy & girl the father Bubel, is a soldier in the army. he is a Catholic. The fire alarm sounded 47 the fire was up at the head of the street, so the paper boy said. it will be in tomorrows news tomorrow. after so many rains one would hardly expect fires. my leaves are mostly blown off down Street thank goodness. I wonder if Sidney brought home your bag, containing your glasses & pocket book. it doesnt pay to be in too much of a hurry. Gladys was here a week ago today & it is so pleasant some of Charlies folks may come here today. the street out front
