I wonder if Amy is still at her mothers, I guess she will come over to see me if there before she goes back, as she always does. The Brides sisters are still on their vacation I guess. glad you can go to the beach & swim this relieves the hot weather there a good deal. be glad when you can come up as it is cooler here. our thunder showers go around. Dear Doris. Pleasant & cool, our rains have done us much good, aided us in vegetation & cooled the atmosphere. everything is fresh & green. Mrs. Golden brought us some string beans out of her garden. I dont like them, but I eat them, they looked so fresh. She had to go to Boston yesterday. but was lucky to get a ride with Myrtle Gilcher there & back & had lunch with Helen Hawse another
