Dear Ma:
Hot again, but a good breeze so that 92° does not feel so bad. Sid is at his job of sifting coal. Doris is at work. I have been making a pastel of the Scotch girl and her baby in her lap. She comes over almost daily and as she holds the baby to give him orange juice, I draw him - the only time he is quiet. The picture is quite a likeness and she is so delighted with it to take home to England. Got a note from Mary's boy, Charlie, who is coming this Sat P.M. I wonder what he is like - a Beals? Doris is writing a note to Barry. She was much pleased ..needed it.
Doris.
