Dear Doris

I nice sunny warm day it seemes [[seems]] more like summer than anything we have been having yet a fire seems too much so we are not making one today.
Bill was over twice Saturday & may come tonight, he is a good one to employ. I told him there were plenty of ladders down cellar so he wouldn't have to bring them.
Mr Benoie borrowed one but it gave out & he had his handy man fix it all right. Carara always borrowed them & didn't always bring them home, so I had to lookout for him till he did. I was glad when he moved out of the neighborhood, you couldnt [[couldn't]] trust him. he had a car a while but as long as the was unable to read, or write, they took it away from him.
