probably he rung the doorbell & I didnt hear it. she was over on Jeanes St to Winnie Trollopes having her toenails cut & feet fixed. she hasn't been to church for many Sundays. they have a negro assistant & being a Southerner she dont go much Mrs Marshal she always adored as everyone did, he was a true Christian and even tended Sues funeral. she worshiped him the people in Stoughton all liked him. one didnt have to go to his church to have him visit and do for them: I was outside when Mr. Benoir came home from work. he showed me a little chair, made by a man who works in the same place he does. it was very pretty & useful it was made to hold thread & thimbles & all sewing kit. he had just been over to show it to George MC Garney
