Dear Doris
After our rainy night its trying to clear & hope to see the sun it might warm us up around 50[[degrees]] now. We have such presipitation I dont wonder people have colds. I am not having any colds I go out all kinds of weather + dont stop to put on any thing extra. I have a regular hedge of dogwood plants + I wish you could look down on them from my chamber window. the soil must be rich where Arthur planted them. years ago. he got them away up by Ira Holmes house. our pasture land, where I used to drive our cows in summer. they are one mass of white flowers & then half way down near the street a little flower dogwood has come up rom seed & grass. it has blossomed. my single roses cinder the Fant window have got four blossoms on them. I set out some more pansies. she won playing cards last week
