I am looking for the Bruces to come to pay their rent to day, being a holiday, the young Bruces wife wont have to be at work, so she can drive ver to pay it. a middle aged man cam over from Jimmies super Market to bring our groceries Friday. I had never seen him before but they say he belongs in the family. we get our groceries very much cheaper they dont fret on the price, as some do. I hope your folks are driving this nice pleasant weather it begins to sum more like spring. Mrs Barrys knee is on the mend. I hope it stays so I get up morning early & get my breakfast so she can sleep. the little store is plenty big enough to cook my cerial & warm up my tea. Winnie & Edith Rose & Richard all went to moving pictures together last Thursday. That is one of the days Winnie takes off, away from her work. She seems to be growing old like us all. I was surprised at their sending me a birthday card as they did we havent had much to do with them since They got out with Pa. hope you are all well & Doris is having a rest from going out with her boy friends. glad she is getting more particular & can say no. this is all I can think of so will close this foolish letter   Ma.
