Dear Doris

Today it is showery & cloudy but cool about 40° this morning it may clear later on grass is green from so many rains. Stayed abed till 9 O'clock so she might sleep. Lately I dont sleep my nerves are unstrung. I turn & twist & try to sleep, after a spell it gets on my nerves. I guess but when I do fall asleep I sleep sound & wake up from being awake so long. I am glad Doris is on her feet again, and you are all over your ailments. there seems to be a lot of diseases going around. Pete McGarvey is taken sick & in the Hospital he has not been out in his garden starting raising vegetables as he usually does. I have noticed, we heard it was gaul stones [[gallstones]] that ailed him, his wife told us I am afraid he has seen the last of his hard work & will retire from his Police appointment before long.
