Dear Mrs. Kilbourne:

It is my pleasure to inform you of your selection as 1967 recipient of the Second District James Bryant Conant Award in High School Chemistry Teaching sponsored by E. I. de Pont de Nemours & Company Incoporated. First announcement of your selection will be made at the General Meeting of the 152nd National Meeting of the Society in New York on Monday, September 12. Until then, the information is [[underline]] condidential. [[/underline]] In replying, will you please mark "PERSONAL" on the envelope.

The Award will be presented at the General Meeting of the ACS Spring Meeting in Miami Beach on Monday, April 10. You are required to appear in person to receive the Award. Details will be relayed to you as they develop.

For your information, we are enclosing a copy of Bulletin 1, "Awards Administered by the American Chemical Society." The description of the James Bryant Conant Award will be found on pages 22 and 23.
