Dear Mrs. Kilbourne:

I have heard from all six of you and it appears that Saturday evening, April 8, as suggested in my earlier letter, is an acceptable date. Accordingly I have arranged for our dinner at the DiLido Hotel on Lincoln Road in Miami Beach (where most of the Division of Chemical Education sessions will be held) in the Venetian Room A. I suggest that you come as soon after 6:00 p.m. as is convenient for an informal social hour and that we plan to eat by 7:00.

Because of the nature of the Saturday night session and limited space in Venetian Room A, we have purposely not invited husbands and wives. However for the Tuesday night Divisional Dinner and Address by Dr. Fieser, husbands and wives are invited as our guests. We will hope to get tickets to you for this dinner at the Saturday evening dinner.

You might also be interested in knowing that the Division is sponsoring a Film Program which is being presented at the Eden Roc, Paladium Room (Mezzanine) on Sunday, 7 - 10:30 p.m., Monday 9:30 a.m. - noon and 1 - 6 p.m., Tuesday 9:30 a.m. - noon and 1 - 5 p.m. The Division program of papers is scheduled for mornings and afternoons, Monday through Thursday.

We are looking forward to meeting with you. If I have not made everything perfectly clear in this letter, please don't hesitate to write and ask. I know you will have a wonderful time in Miami. See you there.

Most cordially,
John F Baxter
