yesterday. He knows Ossie a little, so he told him about his film script and Ossie asked to see it. He will be arranging that today as well; his agent Chuck Neighbors has the script. I think it is better that he do these things than try to get a menial job which he would probably do poorly.

Do send me your xeroxed book. I was talking to an old girl friend, Gladys, who writes, recently (on the phone). She has written 2 childrens books and is circulating them herself, without an agent. She says, however, that she knows a very good agent specializing only in children's books. So, if Chuck couldn't help and her leads to children's publishers don't pan out (she is currently awaiting the annual Writers' Guide) perhaps we could try that for you. Try and get more than one copy mae.

Love,
Doris
