the typing of a speech by the doctor--which will help pay his big bills a little. We applied for Medicaid at the hospital, but [[strikethrough]] he [[/strikethrough]] under false names that we had to use there, so I don't think we can get that assistance except in paying for his long hospital stay there. But the doctor is so good that we do not mind paying him.

I am cooling his pan of water for foot soaking. Up to yesterday, it required 22 soaks (and medication application) a day, but the doctor told us last night that now we needed do it once a day. It is a tiresome procedure--you must first set a huge pan boiling, then cool it to skin temperature, soak for 20 minutes, put on medications, and wrap in [[strikethrough]] ba [[/strikethrough]] fresh bandages. he washes his hands in alcohol and does all the work himself in a more antiseptic way than was afforded us in the hospital.

Well, that is about all for the time being.

By the way, do not use the name "Gardner" in the mail; the [[strikethrough]] super [[/strikethrough]] mailman doesn't know where to put it, the super might get suspicious and tell the landlord, and that bastard might be able to raise the rent!
