Dear Mother,

I mislaid the letter I wrote you on Monday so I guess I'll write another rather than spend 2 hours looking for it. Incidentally, I hid $500 so well last week I haven't found it yet, can you imagine?  But somebody will shortly.

When you receive this letter I will be in Mexico City on my honeymoon as Mrs. Dean Lee Gardner. I will return to have Thanksgiving dinner with you and also to NYC to clear up a few details containing about $9,000.

While basking in M.C., Dean and I will be working on our books, he on his 14th, me on my first. We'll find ourselves a nice little cheap guest house and put him, first, in the hospital, because a pig cop broke his ribs for
