Left N.Y. 12.55 P.M arrived Waterbury 92 miles 6.30 P.M

Passed many old houses with Georgian porches friezes - lintels untouched windows.  Empire, early 19th or up to 1860 very 
interesting.  Oval windows stood upright in peaks 

Around Bridgeport, flat half ovals like scarabs in peaks. All the way many openwork pilasters in cut wood, geometrical designs showing influences of Sir William Chambers

The iron ovals were cast - several from 1840 to 1860 

After Bridgeport stellar horizontal oblong windows with prettily clinched glass in peaks.

Passed one house under influence of Prince Regents pavillion at Brighton.
