May 25. Saturday 1918 Left Hotel 9.A.M. Picked up Mrs Linzel. Harrison Gray Otis house 4 Lynde St. Very interesting woodwork. Will be a Museum S.N.L.A. Met Mr Appleton. He took us to Cambridge to see the Longfellow House. Added to [[?hut]] facade 18th cent & some Georgian Woodwork. Miss Longfellow charming. Bust of her mother by Bartolini Picture by Badger. Cooper Austin House S.N.E.A. 1679. Interesting & elaborate [[? Housepher?]] Lovely. 18th cent-addition Tudor chimney Miss Colman a decorator very nice good to us Asked her to come see us in N.Y. Had heard a great deal about C.U. Museum & how useful it was. Tube gave and at dawn [[town?]] left hand hind ave. Chauffeur did not have his space blown
