and a trial of the case would determine what should  done with the accused. If any further action is taken in this case, it must be such as the law provides, and should any violence be practiced whom the boy, or any undue authority be assumed, those who have already threatened him will be held to a strick accountability, and any illegal actions in the case  will be closely scrutinized. I have written you thus at length to try to show you the inconsistency of such lawlessness for which there cannot be the slightest excuse, while every one has free access to the civil authorities I will close with the earnest request that you use your influence to present further illegal demonstrations in this case, and by repeating that the boy is entitled to a full and impartial trial, also by [[strikethrough]] requiring [[/strikethrough]] saying that should any assistance to procure the same be required by Either party, it will be freely furnished from this office.
