   The killing presented the usual features. I did not think it was as well managed as some. 
  The killers seemed sleepy. Crowley said the large proportion of young seals made the killing a difficult one & this seemed true. They piled up on each other when the pods were driven up, sometimes four deep & were very slow in leaving after the portions wanted were killed.
