Rain, hail and high SE wind, which gets more toward the N in P.M. From the church the end of the reef out of water off Rocky Pt. station at lowest tides, ranges with Ulakhta [[delta symbol]]; and from the next warehouse beyond the new store of H. K. + Co. with Spithead. Rumbling noises from Akutan volcano, one with a slight jar, heard during the day. Evening E. S. E half a gale of wind, rain etc. Bar. 29.442
