Datana J from Dr. Packard from Olympia Wash. Nov. 6, 1893  HO higher then wide flat before, suture well marked, upper small, depressed above; surface [[insert]] [[shapened?]] [[/insert]] & [[punctured?]] shiny black in shading with darkened above: w. 4.8 Body normal, black, the hair dense, [[shiny]], pale, a few of the s-rones black at base, primary hair rather longer in [[stonte?]].  Some of the very minute 2° hair are brown-black.  But the longer ones are pale.  [[Csh?]] pale (discolored), dotted with the [[horn]] [[laces]] of the [[shars]].  [[Shrtn?]] even [[refule]], about 1/2 as wide as the spaces, pale (discolored) broken up and not even. fluent [[pest]].  Bases of all feet, and spots on 5-6, 11 to 12 (not on 13 or anal) pale, the spots occupying all the [[venter?]] between [[feet?]] & interrupting the medioventral line. No pedal line. Spiracles, anal plate & feet as
