2 Noctuids eating low plants in the woods, upper Ausable lake July 17 1894 Hd small as thorax, body enlarges post, 12 slightly humped, 13 small. Abd fat on 9, 10 & 13 [[only?]] no trace on 7 & 8 the 3 setae vii moderately separated closely like those on 5 & 6 setae normal (Noctuina). Light green, a black line over ocelli along side of head. A [[white?]] stig. line not very distinct and ending at 12 (11 post) either with or without a series of seg black dots 5 & 8 just above it. Some faint waved white lines in [[dorsum?]] Spiracles white with black rim. Setae short black. Hd 2.2 ± (died)
