THE OFFICE STAFF
When you enter the office of Stowe Teachers College, you are greeted by two young ladies with a pleasant smile and an eye for service, Miss Everie Wright and Miss Lillian Wilkins.

Miss Wright received her business training at Washington Technical School and at Tucker's Business College. Miss Wilkins, head clerk, who has served here since 1938, was formerly at the Sumner High School.

THE HEALTH STAFF
Dr. Edward Johnson and Nurse Charlotte Batey constitute the medical unit at Stowe. They examine all freshmen and all transfer students, and act on all problems arising during the school year.

Miss Batey completed the junior college curriculum at Stowe before entering professional training. Dr. Johnson follows the late Dr. Jack Gray as director of the Health Staff.

The Classes

The basic student organization at Stowe is the class. Each group is organized to carry forward vital work both with representatives of other units, and with faculty personnel. Certain pivotal functions like those of the Assembly Committee, the Activity Committee, and the Sentinel Staff, are handled in part by men and women drawn from class groups.

The deliberations of the Student Government Association are handed down to the classes for action, and any proposal for the student body may originate in the class groups.

Each class meets periodically with a faculty member who serves in an advisory capacity.

Class activities are proof of the students' belief in the indispensable ideal--FREEDOM, LAW, PEACE.
