After a fine night & early morning with no wind, an easterly draught swept mist on hills & at 10.30 a drip started, which steadily increased to heavy rain which lasted till 7 P.M.  No wind, except E. draught, all day.  Glass still rising slowing all the time.  Set insects all day.
