Institute of Agriculture
University of Minnesota
St. Paul, Minnesota 55101

Dear Kim:

Enclosed is one copy^[[*]] of "Some Objectives for Ke Chung Kim in Korea during January 1967." I am sending ten copies to you in care of Tyson to save your baggage weight. I shall keep the original on file in case you ever want to refer to it.

We telephoned the Korean Embassy and found that your passport should be reaching you about now. No difficulties seem to have been encountered.

Dr. Tyson has Smithsonian letterhead and envelopes, and you are free to use these materials when writing to me.

Enclosed is a copy of your travel itinerary. I shall telephone you before you depart to give you any further information regarding tickets and other matters pertaining to your travel.

It was a great pleasure to have you here in Washington, and as we both agreed, it certainly was profitable and necessary in connection with your trip to Korea. May I wish you every success on your trip to Korea. I hope that it will not only prove to be extremely rewarding to you but also a pleasure for you and your wife.

With warm personal regards.

Sincerely yours,

Helmut K. Buechner
Head, Office of Ecology
