Washington,D.C.

Dear Mr. Wallach:

The Smithsonian Institution wishes to open a revolving account with the Commercial Bank of Korea, Branch of Hewadong in Seoul, Korea. The account will be known as "Smithsonian Korean Research Project" and will be used by Smithsonian personnel to defray expenses incurred while conducting field research in Korea.

Three individuals have been designated as drawers against this account; Mrs. Betty Morgan, Dr. Edwin L. Tyson and Dr. Yung Sun Kang, and any one of these persons to sign. Dr. Tyson and Dr. Kang will be notified to stop by the Branch of Hewadong and sign the necessary forms. Mrs. Morgan has signature cards and will forward them to the Branch of Hewadong.

We wish to transfer $6,286.00, which is now on deposit at the Bank of Korea, to the Commercial Bank of Korea, Branch of Hewadong.

We thank you for your assistance in this matter.

Sincerely,

Betty J. Morgan
Assistant Treasurer
