Dear Hal:

Thank you very much for your hospitality and help while staying in Washington, D.C. Please say "hello" to your wife and all others in the office. I more or less caught up my correspondances accumulated while I was away.

I have instructed the Office of International Relations of the Institute of Agriculture to send a set of publications on World food problem.

The following books I mentioned while staying in Washington are of interest to you, I feel:

The Korean National Commission for UNESCO. 1960 UNESCO Korean Survey. The Dong-a Publishing Co., Ltd., Seoul, Korea. 935 pp.

Rehabilitation and development of Agriculture, Forestry, and Fisheries in South Korea: Report prepared for the UNKRA by a mission selected by the Food and Agriculture Organ. of the United Nations. Columbia Univ. Press, N.Y., 1954.

Agricultural Year Book, by Korean Agriculture Bank (= Korean Agricultural Cooperatives)

If it's permissible, I would like to have letterhead papers and envelopes for my use in Korea in case I have to write you. I would like to have a copy of my itinerary from Smithsonian Travel Service. With my best wishes.

Sincerely yours,
