1. To investigate the scientific qualification (true capability not on the papers) of the individual Korean participants.
2. To re-define and explain the condition and nature of the ^[[DMZ]] project, with special reference to the fund management, official administrative authority, U. S. granting system, and its contribution.
3. To define the role of Korean participants and Smithsonian scientist.
4. To draft ^[[a]] "memorandum of understanding" between ^[[the]] Smithsonian Institution and ^[[a]] Korean institution (Seoul National Univ) for the project, particularly on fund management and property.
5.
