Members of the United States Operating Missions in Seoul attended the plenary sessions. All expressed the opinion that the planning study was the proper approach, and several indicated a belief in the need for a science teaching museum, particularly if the exhibits could be made available to all classes of Korean people throughout the country.

It was generally recognized that the development and operation of a science museum center for Korea would be a pilot or prototype project which could be adapted to the needs of other developing countries in Asia and Africa.
