Dr. Helmut K. Buechner
Head, Office of Ecology
Smithsonian Institution
Washington, D. C.

Dear Dr. Buechner:

I have returned to St. Paul on August 22. My wife and I enjoyed our stay in Washington very much. I thank you for hospitality while I was in Washington. I was very pleased to know you and to have had several occasions to talk to you.

Enclosed is a copy of my curriculum vitae for your file. I hope this will serve you to evaluate me favourably. As I indicated before I will be very much interested in your projects in Korea. If I can be of any help, I will be happy to help you anyway I can.

When you go to Seoul, I would appreciate you will give my personal regards to Dr. Kang of Seoul National University. I sincerely hope you will come up with something solid for future programs for both DMZ projects and National Science Museum matter. Please accept my personal regards to Dr. Frank Taylor and Mr. Patterson. Thanks. Have a good trip to Korea!

Sincerely yours,
