^[[SP a-1]] November 18, 1966 Dr. Edwin L. Tyson c/0 American Embassy Seoul, Korea Dear Dr. Tyson: The Smithsonian Institution is in the process of establishing a revolving account with the Bank of Korea. This account will be known as "Smithsonian Korean Research Project". An initial deposit of $6,286.00 is being made with reimbursements to follow as needed. There will be considerable field work and expenses in conducting this project. The Smithsonian wishes you every success in this project. If any problems arise please do not hesitate to contact us via the most convenient means. Sincerely, Betty J.
