Dear Mr. Barwick,

In reference to a letter from Dr. S. Dillon Ripley, dated 28 September 1966, appointing me contracting officer for the purchase of two (2) Toyota four-wheel drive station wagons, I wish to state that these vehicles have bene ordered and they are expected to be delivered in Korea in early February. My question is, just when will the Smithsonian Institutions general insurance coverage begin? Should I make arrangements for a special policy of some ^[[/]] kind or [[strikethrough]] how the [[/strikethrough]] ^[[will the]] existing general policy begin from the time I sign for the vehicles at the decks? Please advise.

Sincerely,
