Dear Sir,

Let me introduce myself. I am the professor in College of Agriculture, Korea University (An university of old history in Korea), having about fifteen years of research career.

My inevitable interest and a strong desire to understand the Korean flora from a structural point (problem of ecological adaptability and growth habit in addition to taxonomy) as well as utilization problem have made me the research project as attached paper.

This kind of task have never been undertaken in Korea, though some taxonomical works on Korean flora were exist.

The co-worker Hak Soo, Ahn and Ki Hung, Rim are both of excellent botanist in Korea, having about ten or fifteen research careers for Korean flora.

As I think, also, this project is very important not only for agricultural use but also for military purpose for a prepared countermeasure under the menace of communist, I hope your good regard and examination on the project.

And if possible, I hope that I can carried out the project by your aid.

Sincerely Yours,
