TOTAL BUDGET AND AMOUNT REQUESTED FROM AIR FORCE OFFICE OF SCIENTIFIC RESEARCH - [[double underlined]]$36,586[[/double underlined]]

So as to minimize the cost of this research, this budget is predicated upon two reconditioned or serviceable jeeps being made available through logistic support for use in Korea.

No allowance has been included for the transportation of materials, supplies, specimens or equipment back to the United States.

Except for Dr. Tyson, no cost is included for transportation, per diem or other allowances for the attendance of U. S. scientists at the Pacific Science Congress in Tokyo. Thus, proposed transportation costs for these scientists is limited to transportation costs between Seoul and Tokyo only. We believe it essential that Dr. Tyson attend the Congress as well as visit the DMZ and Buffer Zones.

Support for this research has not been requested of any other contracting or granting agency or any other source.
