VI. [[underlined]] Major Rocommendations [[/underlined]]

In connection with conservation problem and plan urgent in Korea, I recommend the following matters to the government.

1. Legislative Recommendation

I propose that insufficient current hunting law be either revised or strengthened to meet the appropriate standard of the game administration. Especially the followings are the most urgent problems.

A. The hunting law should have provisions plainly stating that all nature reserves are owned solely by state. Accordingly, the law also should make it clear that any arbitrary collecting or capturing of nature resources or wild animal or plant are not permissible without due permission from the concerned government authorities and that their sale, purchase, transfer, acceptance, or export are prohibited. The law should have a text clarifying about imposing punishment on law-breakers and the punishment should be stern one, proportional to the degree of violation.

B. National Park Law and Nature Resources Preservation Law

The work and resolution of the concerned government authorities relating to the national park law should be facilitated.

2. Educational Recommendation

A. Together with education for scientific development, an intensive educational efforts for nature and natural resources
