Dear Dr. Buechner: .

Thank you very much for your letter on February 25, 1966. I am also very grateful to you and Dr. Coolidge for your helps to
enable me to participate in Ann Arbor and Washington, D.C..

On the above same day, February 25, the U.S. Embassy in Seoul informed me about they would sponse my travel expenses.

I think it will contribute so much to my future projects for the conservation of nature in Korea. My collaborates welcome with great pleasure that you and the Smithsonian Institution understand enough and will cooperate the long-term research projects of the Demiliterized Zone in our country under supporting of Dr. Coolidge. At first, when Dr. Coolidge visited Korea in the last year we were
agreed on promoting this projects under the cooperation of America and Korea. Almost all biologists in Korea being allied well under
the Korean Commission of the Conservation for Nature and Natural Resources. So I think they will do their best when this projects
put into practice. Now I am sendint to you and Dr. Coolidge the three copies of preliminary research projects on the DMZ.

I will prepare the more detailed research program on the DMZ that you send me any suitable forms. Then I will carry it when my visiting the United States. But we intend to begin our program from the coming April in this year not to miss the proper season.

Sincerely yours,
