About the Project
Maybe you remember Ira Sayles's 1888 field book of his geological work in central New York? If you missed that project, you might be happy to know that central New York was still a focus of interest some 70 years later. G. Arthur Cooper's 1959 field notes are a narrative account of his work in the Cherry Valley in late spring. Come join other volunteers in transcribing Cooper's notes.
