the Star publishes every night is fine.  It gives me all the incoming and outgoing steamers until Thursday.  There is one going to Montevideo on Tuesday and another on Wednesday.  Bryant sent the boxes on the "Southern Cross" which the paper says sailed to Rio on Saturday but he seemed to think that Steamer was going to Montevideo.

 This isn't much of a letter but I've been writing [[underlined]]much[[/underlined]] too often.  How about it?

 I'm off to my nice white bed and there's no counting the bars either!  Had a [[underlined]]terrible [[/underlined]] storm the other night.  I vowed if I lived through it I'd leave town the next day - but I'm still here. Alas!
