dropped last night from 90 to 65. Crazy weather!
The Home and School Asso. have made work for me again. Suddenly decided to have a party for the graduating class and I had notices to get out and some other work to do too. The sparrows have destroyed the wren's young birds. I've oceans of work to do before tomorrow but it's fine and cool so here I go. Lots of love from the youngsters. 

I'm[[underline]]mad[[/underline]] at your mother. She knows Grandma is coming and yet she's going to Ed's on Sunday. It'll be down right embarrassing to have to confess it to Grandma.

relief from the heat that the cars were parked side by side [[underline]]all through[[/underline]] the park. This morning we went to the baby party at the Mother's Club. Too hot to be out but Mrs. McCandlish took us and brought us home so it wasn't so bad. 
Monday morn. 
It's still hot, Lord help us!
I bought a morning paper and was much chagrined as [[underline]]you[[/underline]] no doubt will be to see how they got the picture and article mixed up. Darn 'em!
