Thelma attended five dances in February besides a couple of card parties one of which was in March; now this month there doesn't seem to be so much going on. The office has already given two dances and one card party and gives another in April and a dance in May. Did I tell you that she has gotten another small raise, entirely unexpected, so that now she gets $1620. a year. Every little bit helps.

She is again taking a few dancing lessons, one of the girls persuaded her to. Alvina seems well and the kids are fine and so are we.

Ned was in bed a week with the grip and Joy home from school for three or four days also sick and the baby not very well and on top of all that Helen that big elephant they had taking care of things left them suddenly. They are all well again and have an Adventist girl now.
