Everybody or at least a number of the folks have put burglar proof locks on their doors and so have I at $6.50 but if they break the whole door jam as they did next door the lock won't be much protection.

I heard the racket next door but it sounded as though some one were thumping a heavy trunk down on the floor not like breaking a door. I thought once of looking out but then I said it is none of my business and I hate to appear nosey. I might have scared them off and then again they might have knocked me over the head and ransacked my Apt.
